USA-founded streetwear brand Nerdunit, led by Malaysian designer Ronald Chew launched a new collaboration with New York's OG Streetwear brand, Staple Pigeon. They are a world-renowned brand that reflects the gritty and never-ending energy New Yorkers (and all urban dwellers) possess.

Taking this collaboration a step further into the future, we have elevated the game by merging technology with fashion. Featuring a fully-immersive Augmented Reality, it is integrated into all of the pieces. To trigger it is simple, scan the QR Code given on the tag, hover your camera to the Robotic Pigeon on the garment and watch your vision come to life.


In true Staple form, this collection adopts a pigeon-like robotic design to fit into Nerdunit DNA on futuristic designs. With that in mind, both brands merged their vision by incorporating the color palette that consists of black, grey, and white; that when combined, create an unprecedented dark contrast that appeals to cold tones off all-winter; alongside with, the eye-catching design, never before seen by the likes of collectors and streetwear aficionados.


Nerdunit also debuted a collaboration with an internationally renowned Japanese toy company Medicom Toys Incorporated; Nerdunit x Be@rbrick line. Marking the first collaboration done by them with a Malaysian streetwear brand, placing us amongst streetwear heavyweights such as Supreme, Bape, and KITH.
